Why is our treatment 'medical'?

Corns and calluses (Often painful) are treated painlessly under sterile conditions.

Calluses : Thickened, rough, hard, flaky, split, fissured or dry skin.

Corns 'Bumps/lumps', 'dimple/dents', that may be tender to walk on or hurt in shoes. They usually appear over the 'knuckles' of your toes, top of your 5th toe and in between toes.

It's prevention and treatment is particularly important not only for cosmetic purposes (Especially in sandals!), but if you have poor circulation, diabetes, or if they are 'split' there is an increases a risk of infection or ulceration.

Corn pads should be avoided, as these acid patches burn a patch larger than your actual corn, and increase the risk of ulceration. (Dangerous in elderly and poor circulation)

Nails are trimmed, tidied and buffed to remove rigidity and unwanted thickness and discolouration.

Ingrown toenails result in tenderness at the sides of your nails as they grow. Usually the big toe is affected. This may become infected, prevent the nail from growing, cause pain in footwear or under bedsheets.

Fungal toenails destroys the integrity of your nails. They serve to protect your nail bed and protect your toes. They cause discolouration and brittleness of your nails.

What is Bio Sculpture Gel?

Bio Sculpture Gel is the original soak-off, colour gel nail system that focuses on providing the healthiest manicure and pedicure products of the highest quality. It is made from quality, non-toxic ingredients that protect and nurture the natural nail.

How is it different to acrylic and other gels?

Treatments do not require primers or bonders, which can dehydrate and damage the natural nail. Bio Sculpture treatment gels are able to bend and flex with the nail's natural movements, providing them with protection and allowing them to grow without breaking. Treatments are customised to your nail type.

Nails can be lengthened, re-enforced, repaired, and more, all whilst the natural nail stays protected.

How long does it last?

It is chip-free and can last up to 3 weeks on hands and 6 weeks on toes.

Is it safe?

All Bio Sculpture Gel products are 100% vegan, animal cruelty free, and "5 free" non-toxic.

Bio Sculpture gels are quickly dried/cured under a Bio Sculpture UV LED lamp which has been independently tested by an Australian Government agency to ensure safety.

What about infection?

There is nothing worse than removing your nail polish only to reveal a nasty fungal infection in your nails! I have seen this happen all too often as a result of clients visiting a 'nail bar' only to discover an infection had set in weeks down the track.

As an AHPRA-registered pharmacist, YOUR HEALTH is IMPORTANT to me.

✔︎ All my implements are medical grade stainless steel and are sterilised by autoclave after each client
✔︎ I use disposable files and buffers, eliminating risk of cross-contamination
✔︎ I use a specially designed pedi-basin made by Belava and fully disposable liners.
(I do not use a spa-jet pedicure bath as they are a breeding ground for germs!)

How do I remove it?

Bio Sculpture Gel requires soak-off removal. It should be done in the salon but can also be done at home (I can teach you how!)
It must never be picked or peeled off the nail as this can cause damage to the natural nail!

Do you offer other options?

If you prefer not to have Bio Sculpture Gel, I also offer regular nail polish. Unfortunately it does not last as long but is a good option if you prefer to change colours frequently or prefer to remove your own polish at home with ease.
